You'd need to find a gen5 compatible frame for what you'd want to do. Gen 5 and Gen 3 share nothing in common. The Gen 5 used all coil springs in place of the leaf springs and the trigger bar spring. Locking Glock is 2 pins for the Gen 5 and 3 for the Gen 3. You will have to use Gen 3 lower parts.
