The latest version of the 1-series manual (Nov. 2020 and later) no longer lists a 50 hr. initial fluid/filter change for the transmission. In fact, you have to go back several manual versions to find it listed. May 6, 2012 · Since John Deere took it out of the manual for 2019, left it out for the revision of the 2019 manual, and since my dealer and his service manager say 50-hour transmission change isn't necessary, I conclude that John Deere has decided that the 50-hour transmission change isn't necessary.
