Why is the d flashing on my honda pilot
Everthing seemed to be fine, but now, occasionally, the drive indicator "D" begins flashing while driving. According to the manual, this indicatates a "possible" problem with the transmission. I checked the fluid level and added about 4 oz, but the problem contines. It seems to only happen when the ac is running.The Flashing "D" happened to my wife in her '04 Pilot twice in the last month. Quit flashing on the next restart. Took it to the Honda dealer and the tech immediately pulled a code: 27-01 4th pressure switch malfunction. Replaced the sensor. $102.47 part and $182.09 diagnosis and labor.N_Jay. Upon the "first start of the day", the red low oil pressure annuciator blinks while idling. When I first observed this, I of course immediately shut the car off. I then checked oil level (fine), and color (clean), and looked around the engine compartment for any in-your-face obvious leakages or oil problems.
