Tek Stryders swimming sucks! So if you get a Tek Stryder into deep water, it swims just fine, but it literally cannot get out onto an ocean platform, ramp, etc. This is an issue I found out unfortunately because my Stryder fell into the trench and is now stuck there...wish there was a way to get them out. Once you've done 7 unique missions (each mission is technically 3 mission completions, one for each difficulty), you can tame all stryders that have a 7 or less mission requirement, etc. 1. Posted June 3, 2021. As above. Per NerdParade stream, Stryder (when tamed/forcetamed) allows you to pick up the associated tek bed or transmitter. But when you do, you can pick up an infinite amount of them! Resulting in unlimited tek beds or tek transmitters.

The taming will fail basically every time. After you feed it mutagel and activate the taming process, you just press R2 (don't hold) when the bars line up during the hacking process. It is an easy tame, but they just can't seem to be tamed at the moment.
