Hi friends, I am a new design examiner and I was provided with two monitors. I have always worked with a single monitor, even when I worked as a patent attorney. I would print out the office action and the relevant portions of the file history, and work by hand to start. I've always found the concept of 2 monitors/screens very distracting.
